Music Beyond the Fanlight: An 18th-Century Dublin Entertainment

The Practitioners of Musick and the Museum of the American Revolution present a concert celebrating the artistic and international worlds of Richard St. George, an Irish officer in the British Army featured in Cost of Revolution. This entertainment will feature works heard in the concert rooms, music societies, theatres, and grand private houses of Dublin, the Irish capital, composed by Handel, Arne, Corelli, Roseingrave, Geminiani and O’ Carolan, the Irish bard, among other esteemed masters heard in these spaces from 1745 to 1795.
