2024 State of the Museum Address

Museum Members are invited to the sixth annual State of the Museum Address delivered by Museum President and CEO Dr. R. Scott Stephenson, who will reflect on the Museum’s recent accomplishments and preview the educational initiatives and plans for The Declaration’s Journey, the special exhibit slated to open in Fall 2025 to coincide with the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding in 2026.

During this hybrid event presented to Members nationwide, Stephenson will welcome the chance to answer questions from Members who attend onsite and online via Zoom. Members who register for this event in advance will receive a private link to view the event recording when it is first available.

Following the address, Members are invited to join Stephenson and the Museum’s Membership team for a special evening reception on the Museum’s third-floor Bank of America Terrace, which overlooks historic Philadelphia. Thank you to our Members, near and far, who support the Museum mission to uncover and share compelling stories about the diverse people and complex events that sparked America’s ongoing experiment in liberty, equality, and self-government.
