Planned Giving: Join our Liberty Society

A bequest from your estate will support the mission of the Museum of the American Revolution for generations to come. An additional benefit is that such a gift is considered a charitable contribution and may help reduce taxes on your estate. If you are interested in discussing your options for a planned gift, contact our development staff at 1-877-740-1776.

The Liberty Society takes its name from the Liberty Tree, a rallying point where colonists congregated in the decade preceding the American Revolution. Under the Liberty Tree, Americans discussed and debated independence, freedom, and equality. Liberty Society members create a lasting legacy that upholds the importance of the ongoing American Revolution and the need to teach democratic ideas and ideals to future generations.

Donate Objects

Every year generous individuals, groups, and institutions make object donations to the Museum. We are always happy to consider objects that will strengthen our core collection and advance our educational mission. Because of the time and resources required to care for objects properly, museums must be extremely selective about what they agree to take into the permanent collection. For this reason, we ask that you review and follow the procedures outlined in the form below to donate an object to the Museum.
