Take a closer look at objects related to the legacies of Elizabeth Griscom Ross Ashburn Claypoole, popularly known as Betsy Ross, and James Forten that are now on display in the final gallery of the Museum's core exhibition.

Now on view at the Museum is an example of an early American flag, the Schenectady "Liberty" flag, on loan from the Schenectady County Historical Society.
