Michael Idriss Headshot

Join us on Thursday, June 24, to meet Michael Idriss, the Museum’s new African American Interpretive Fellow. Broadcasting live from the Museum galleries, Idriss will share his vision for developing and delivering programs that explore the lives, experiences, and impact of Revolutionary-era people of African descent, with a Q&A to follow.

This event is free for Young Friends Ambassadors and Young Friends Members with email RSVP to [email protected]. General admission and Museum Member tickets are available for $10.

Michael Idriss is the African American Interpretive Fellow at the Museum of the American Revolution. Idriss works on the Museum’s Diversify Living History initiative, focusing on African American interpretation. A Philadelphia native, Idriss has an associate degree from Delaware County Community College and a bachelor's degree with honors in history from Temple University, with a minor in African American Studies/Africology. He was named Tour Guide of the Year for Urban Adventures in North America at their conference in Mexico City in March 2020.
