General George Washington's Revolutionary War headquarters tent on display at the Museum

Join fellow Museum Members on the first Sunday of every month for special Members-only tours of our galleries, special exhibitions, and historic neighborhood.

On Sunday, March 3, at 9:30 a.m., join a Museum educator for this 60-minute guided tour of our new special exhibition, Witness to Revolution: The Unlikely Travels of Washington’s Tent. Through inspiring works of art, rare documents, and historical objects, this special exhibition brings to life the stories of individuals from all walks of life who saved Washington’s tent from being lost over the generations and who ultimately fashioned this relic into a symbol of the fragile American republic.

Our monthly Member Mornings are free for Museum Members to attend with advance registration. Not yet a Museum Member? Become a member today.
