The Education department at the Museum of the American Revolution brings the causes, events, and ideas of the American Revolution to life through immersive and creative in-person and online programming for people of all ages and diverse life experiences. We produce well-researched, high-quality programs and learning resources for in-person, homeschool, and virtual learning that draw on the Museum’s collection and exhibits to present multiple historical perspectives through the eyes of real people who lived during the Revolution. In doing so, we empower people to think critically, understand, and respect the views of others, and make positive changes in their community and beyond.
The Museum’s educational programs serve thousands of people every year in rich and diverse learning programs that ranges from dynamic evening speaker series to family-friendly learning experiences for children and families in Revolution Place (temporarily closed), our interactive discovery center.
