Museum of the American Revolution Names William Schwartz as New Board Member

PHILADELPHIA, May 22, 2017 — The Museum of the American Revolution today announced the election of William Schwartz as the newest member of the Museum’s Board of Directors. Schwartz is the principal and co-founder of INTECH Construction.

Schwartz co-founded INTECH in 1986 with Craig Sabatino. Since then, the firm has evolved into a dynamic force in the commercial construction industry and a major Philadelphia presence, constructing many prominent projects in the region ranging from major academic and cultural institutions, to those in healthcare, hospitality, and business sectors. Recent projects include the Museum of the American Revolution, the University of Pennsylvania’s New College House, and The Logan Hotel. 

“Will’s passion for and commitment to the City of Philadelphia is evident in every project he takes on,” said Museum Chairman General John P. Jumper. “Through his work with INTECH, he continues to make a significant impact on the Philadelphia region and the Delaware Valley through quality craftsmanship, creativity, and collaboration. A naturalized American citizen from Peru, Schwartz holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has twice received the honor of Greater Philadelphia’s “Entrepreneur of The Year.” Schwartz is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Jewish Committee and a past Board Member of the University City District and The Shipley School.
