Virtual Field Trip

Debating Independence Historical Simulations
Was American independence from Britain inevitable in the 18th century? In these full-day historical simulations, high school students are invited to step into the shoes of the Second Continental Congress and will debate the issues that may – or may not – lead to a momentous decision. Presented in partnership with the Foreign Policy Research Institute.
