Join fellow Francophiles for a festive happy hour soirée hosted by Museum Associate Curator of Exhibition Content and Research James Taub, who will connect French history to the American Revolution in a special interactive presentation at 6 p.m. in the Museum’s Cross Keys Café. While exploring stories from the Champs-Élysées to Chestnut Street, Bordeaux to Brandywine, Lafayette to L’Enfant, and more, enjoy a special “French 1775” cocktail at a cash bar and exclusive evening access to the Museum’s special exhibit Witness to Revolution: The Unlikely Travels of Washington’s Tent.

The Alliance Française de Philadelphie and The Consule Honoraire de France à Philadelphie et Delaware will also join the Museum to highlight the ongoing diplomatic relationship between France and Philadelphia with activities in the Museum’s first-floor rotunda prior to a viewing of Washington’s War Tent at 7 p.m. in the Museum’s Alan B. Miller Theater.

Museum Members at the Young Friends, Young Friends Ambassador, and Museum Circle levels and above will receive a complimentary drink ticket to use at the cash bar upon arrival. To learn more about membership, please contact Membership Manager Emily Grenier at [email protected]. The purchase of an event ticket is considered a donation in support of the Museum’s educational programs.
