Washington Crossing Historic Park

Visit 500 acres of American history filled with natural beauty, where George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware river and turned the tide of the Revolutionary War. Stop by the park to see the historic village, the garden, and the soldiers' graves.

Thompson-Neely House & Farmstead

Thompson-Neely House & Farmstead was once a temporary regimental army hospital during Washington’s winter campaign of 1776-1777. Today, the house still stands along with other properties at Washington Crossing Historic Park as a reminder of the Revolutionary era.

Washington Crossing Park (N.J. side)

It took General Washington and his Continental Army troops nearly 10 hours to cross the icy Delaware River on Christmas night 1776 with all of their men, cannon, and equipment. They landed at Johnson's Ferry where you can now see the Johnson Ferry House, hike the trails through the park, and much more.

Princeton Battlefield State Park

Princeton Battlefield State Park preserves the site of the Jan. 3, 1777, Battle of Princeton as well as the Thomas Clarke House where General Hugh Mercer was carried and later died after he was mortally wounded. The famous Mercer Oak once stood in the middle of the battlefield.
