K-12 educators are invited to join the Museum's Group Sales and School Programs teams to learn more about our field trip experiences.

The Museum is delighted to offer K-12 educators the opportunity to preview our student field trip experience. Meet our School Programs and Group Sales teams and gain access to our educational resources. We’ll offer a sneak peek at our interactive add-on programs — a great way to supplement your students’ learning experience at the Museum! Educators can also visit our current special exhibit, Black Founders:­ The Forten Family of Philadelphia and learn more about our upcoming special exhibit, Witness to Revolution: The Unlikely Travels of Washington's Tent.

Attendance is free for K-12 Educators. Additional guests will receive discounted admission with advance registration.

Black Founders: The Forten Family of Philadelphia

February 11 - November 26, 2023
Black Founders: The Forten Family of Philadelphia explored the story of James Forten and his descendants as they navigated the American Revolution and cross-racial relationships in Philadelphia to later become leaders in the abolition movement in the lead-up to the Civil War.
Explore Exhibit
