10-Minute In-Gallery Talk: Asian Trade in Early America
Visitors joined a Museum educator in our galleries to learn more about trade with China in the 18th century. Not only did they find examples of both Chinese- and American-made hard-paste porcelain on display, they also learned more about the Boston Tea Party and the economic impacts of the tea trade.
10-Minute In-Gallery Talk: Flags and Symbols
Visitors joined a Museum educator in our new special exhibit, Banners of Liberty, to learn more about some of the imagery, language, and symbols used on Revolutionary War flags, many of which were made from silk.
