The Museum’s groundbreaking exhibit When Women Lost the Vote: A Revolutionary Story, 1776-1807 now has a teacher resource guide filled with resources and activities for your classroom! This virtual exhibit uses primary source documents, original artifacts, and an interactive document viewer to explore the little-known period in American history when some women and people of African descent exercised the right to vote in New Jersey.  

Join members of the Museum of the American Revolution’s Education team as we introduce you to this virtual exhibit and its new accompanying resources and activities for students and teachers. Together we’ll investigate this fascinating story and consider what it can teach students about the significance of voting in Revolutionary America.
