Museum Members across the nation are invited on Wednesday, Dec. 11, to meet Museum experts and educators for a free special talk and Q&A in this exclusive online series presented live from Philadelphia.
What does it take to protect the Commander in Chief? Members are invited for a virtual tour inside Washington’s field headquarters to find out! In this interactive event, Members will learn what life was like on campaign for General George Washington’s Life Guard, get to know the people in Washington’s inner circle, and examine how the tent became a symbol of Washington’s republican leadership. Along the way, Members will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the Museum’s initiatives to engage K-12 audiences nationwide.
Following the talk, Museum Members will be invited to share comments and ask questions via Zoom. Please note: This event will not be recorded or made available to watch again. Registrants will immediately receive the Zoom link to join this live virtual event in their registration confirmation email.
This event is for Museum Members only. Not a Member? Join today for exclusive access to this event, unlimited free admission all year long, special discounts, perks, and so much more! Contact Emily Grenier, Membership Manager, at [email protected] with any questions.
