Join fellow Museum Members on the first Sunday of every month for special Members-only tours of our galleries, special exhibitions, and historic neighborhood.

On Sunday, Nov. 5, at 9:30 a.m., Museum Members are invited for a 45-minute guided tour of our special exhibition, Black Founders: The Forten Family of Philadelphia, before it closes on Nov. 26. Throughout the tour, explore the life and legacy of free Black Philadelphian, Revolutionary War privateer, and successful businessman James Forten and his descendants as they navigated the American Revolution and cross-racial relationships in Philadelphia to become leaders in the abolition movement in the lead-up to the Civil War and the women's suffrage movement.
