It’s time to gather up for our first-ever in-person meet-up of the History Explorers Club! In this family-friendly event on Saturday, Nov. 6 geared toward kids ages 6-11, we’ll take a walk through Philadelphia under British authority, meeting British soldiers and everyday residents, and getting a hands-on glimpse into life in British-occupied Philadelphia in 1777-78. Why did the British want to take over Philadelphia? How did Philadelphians feel about it? And where did General Washington go?!

Join Family Programs Manager Rebecca Franco as we work together to answer these questions and gather the clues we need to complete our Occupied scavenger hunt! Kids are invited to take the lead in this program, but all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
