Collections Society Members are invited to arrive early for AmRev Presents: World’s Fair Night at the Museum with a special preview experience in the Museum’s Collections Workroom at 4:30 p.m. Explore 1776, 1876, and 1976 anniversary-related artifacts not currently on view to the public with Museum Assistant Curator Alexandra Cade.

Following this exclusive tour, enjoy complimentary access to the public program, including a festive reception and 6:15 p.m. featured conversation with Philadelphia Museum of Art experts David Barquist and Colin Fanning as well as Historical Society of Pennsylvania's Justina Barrett and Selena Austin. Hosted by Museum staff, this public program timed to the anniversary of opening the United States Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park will illustrate how the artists, architects, individuals, and institutions collaborated in both 1776 and 1876 to build the city’s reputation as a revolutionary center worth revisiting in 2026.

Space is limited to 25 participants for the Collections Workroom Tour. To RSVP, please contact Kelley Dahlen at [email protected] or 267.579.3380. RSVPs include complimentary access to the reception and public program, with no tickets required.
