Occupied Philadelphia Tea with two costumed living history interpreters

Join your fellow Museum Members on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 1-2:30 p.m. for a spot of afternoon tea and activities for History Explorers with costumed British soldiers and civilians. This members-only exclusive teatime will be hosted in the Museum’s Liberty Hall.

Plan to make a day of it at our signature living history event, Occupied Philadelphia, where we recreate the dark days of the British occupation of fall 1777. Throughout the weekend, the Museum will offer guided walking tours, special programming, and family-friendly activities exploring what life was like in the city while British forces controlled it. Guests will meet dozens of costumed historical interpreters portraying soldiers, civilians, and spies on the Museum’s outdoor plaza.

Members can also book an immersive outdoor walking tour of the occupied Museum neighborhood at a discounted price. Tours will run every half-hour on Saturday until 4 p.m. and on Sunday until 2 p.m. Purchase tickets in advance. Please contact the membership department if you need assistance with your member ID, membership@amrevmuseum.org or 267.579.3565.

Occupied Philadelphia is sponsored by American Heritage Credit Union.
