In Black Founders: The Forten Family of Philadelphia, opening Feb. 11, 2023, the Museum will introduce visitors to James Forten and his descendants as they navigated cross-racial relationships in Philadelphia during the American Revolution to become leaders in the abolition and women's suffrage movements.

    Any Day Tickets make great gifts for friends and family planning a visit to the Museum! They can be used on the day of your choice and include access to the Museum’s award-winning, immersive core galleries as well as our upcoming special exhibition, Black Founders: The Forten Family of Philadelphia, opening soon on Feb. 11, 2023. Any Day Tickets ($25) are valid for two consecutive days, based on availability, and they never expire.

    A gift membership to the Museum is the gift that keeps on giving!     The Museum is offering two upcoming virtual classes to dive deeper into the Revolutionary era, including The American Revolution 101 in January 2023 and The American Revolution After 1783 in March 2023.

    Learn tricks of 18th-century trades and meet others while discovering new talents in making and doing and try your hand at creating your own replic with upcoming workshops, including making a haversack (December, in-person), a pinball (January, virtual), a sampler (March, virtual), and/or a ditty bag (April, in-person).
