    Christopher Ludwick Two-Sided Cookie Mold

    This gingerbread mold is a reproduction of an 18th century carved board once used by Christopher Ludwick, a Superintendent of Bakers in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. The original mold — which is in the Museum’s collection — features two designs: a potted flower on one side and a well-dressed woman on the other. Reproduced by House on the Hill, the mold comes with a printed gingerbread recipe and history card. In addition to this larger two-sided mold, there are smaller single-sided molds available.
