PHILADELPHIA– March 26, 2015 –The Museum of the American Revolution today announced that two award-winning firms—Donna Lawrence Productions and Bluecadet—will produce the films, multi-media and interactives for the Museum of the American Revolution.

Dr. Scott Stephenson, the Museum’s Director of Collections and Interpretation, said, “We are delighted to have the tremendous talent Donna Lawrence Productions and Bluecadet bring to our team as we work to engage our visitors in the complicated, surprising, and inspiring stories of the American Revolution.”

Donna Lawrence Productions (DLP) will produce the Museum’s two signature films—the Introductory Film and the Washington Tent Theater, as well as the multi-sensory Battlefield Theater and several “object theaters” that use media in tandem with the Museum’s collection. DLP has received top awards in almost every national and international film festival dedicated to special format or documentary productions. They have worked for the National Constitution Center, Monticello, Gettysburg, Capitol Visitor Center and the New York Historical Society.

Bluecadet, an award-winning, Philadelphia-based design agency, will produce a range of interactives that will engage visitors on topics such as the beginnings of debating independence, African American stories, and the key moments of the eight-year War for Independence. Bluecadet’s many museum clients include the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Field Museum, the Penn Museum and the Museum of Modern Art.
