Remembering Gary Nash

We join with so many in the history community to remember Dr. Gary Nash, a founding member of the Museum’s board of scholars during the early planning phase of the project. His lifelong devotion to telling a more inclusive and diverse story of our nation shaped the Museum’s core exhibition profoundly. He is shown above (at right), conferring with Museum President and CEO Dr. R. Scott Stephenson (center), who was then Director of Collections and Interpretation, during a 2007 meeting. We extend our condolences to his family.
