Graphic that reads The Declaration's Journey

Museum members are invited to visit the Museum for a special screening of WHYY's new hour-long documentary, The Declaration's Journey. This documentary traces the story of the Declaration of Independence from Thomas Jefferson’s pen to movements for freedom around the world. Explore how its words inspired revolutions, challenged injustice, and continue to shape our shared pursuit of equality. The Declaration’s Journey has been produced in coordination with the Museum and features stories from our current special exhibition of the same name. Members can visit the exhibition either before or after the screening. This is a free event, but registration is required. Space is limited and members are receiving first access.
