Revolution at the Library: Ramonita G. de Rodriguez Library

Climb aboard as we learn about life on a privateer ship, including what a sailor might have eaten, what his job might have been, and how he would have passed the time. Meet some of the Revolution’s most famous sailors, like Philadelphian James Forten. Learn how to fire a cannon while fighting off the British and create a “tall tale” from the high seas!

Aimed at elementary school students and their families, Revolution at the Library features fun and curiosity-provoking object-, document-, and story-based activities that bring the people and events of the American Revolution to life.
