Join an online gallery tour and interactive discussion as Mark A. Turdo, Curator of Collections, and Education staff present the galleries at the Museum of the American Revolution as a Revolutionary snow globe, live from a new display of William B. T. Trego’s famous March to Valley Forge to Don Troiani’s Advance to Trenton. Along the way, help General Washington break up a snowball fight, learn about the women who followed the army through each long winter, and see the Philadelphia portrait painter who didn’t recognize his own brother in Trenton and Princeton.
This exclusive online event is presented with Member December and is inspired by the special exhibitions, Liberty: Don Troiani's Paintings of the Revolutionary War and For the Benefit of the Future: William B. T. Trego’s Vision of Valley Forge, with special thanks to the Society of the Descendants of Washington’s Army at Valley Forge.
