Join the Museum at Dey Mansion in Passaic County, New Jersey, for a living history event on July 18-20, where we will set up our recreation of General George Washington's sleeping marquee, dining tent, baggage tent, and common tents that served as his mobile headquarters while on campaign.

For this special event, George Washington returns to the Dey Mansion, the site of his 1780 visit to the Preakness Valley. This special weekend will feature living historians in period attire as they clean muskets, prepare meals, drill for battle, and present a variety of demonstrations that bring Revolutionary-era America to life.
