State of the Museum Address

Museum Members are invited to the 2026 State of the Museum Address, an exclusive annual gathering for Museum Members nationwide. Join us for an evening presentation and reception hosted by Museum President and CEO Dr. R. Scott Stephenson, who will reflect on the Museum’s recent accomplishments and offer a behind-the-scenes look at plans for future engagement and growth, coinciding with The Declaration’s Journey, presented by Griffin Catalyst, and the 250th anniversary of the United States this summer. Following the Address, Members who attend onsite will be invited to join a complimentary reception with Museum leadership.

Members who register in advance will have the opportunity to suggest a topic for discussion during this event and will receive a private link to view the event recording when it is first available. Thank you to our Members, near and far, who support the Museum mission to uncover and share compelling stories about the diverse people and complex events that sparked America’s ongoing experiment in liberty, equality, and self-government.

Not a Member yet? Members receive invitations to exclusive events, including the State of the Museum Address, every year and discounts on additional programs and tours offered both onsite and online. Please contact Membership Manager Emily Grenier at [email protected] to learn more and join.
