How do I book a distance learning program?
To book a distance learning program, please contact Group Sales at [email protected] or by calling 267.579.3623.
How much do distance learning programs cost?
Virtual sessions are $125 per classroom (up to 35 students).
When are distance learning programs available?
Virtual programs are available between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET on Mondays and Tuesdays from Sept. 14, 2026 through March 31, 2027.
Can I make reservations for multiple teachers?
Yes! If you are making reservations for multiple teachers at your school or in your grade, Group Sales will require the name and contact information of the teacher in charge of each classroom.
When is payment due?
Balance payment is due 14 days prior to your scheduled virtual program. Purchase orders are an acceptable form of payment.
What options are available for my distance learning program?
Schools can choose a Virtual Tour of the the core galleries with the Through Their Eyes program or the special exhibition, The Declaration’s Journey.
Can I add any additional programming?
Yes! Live sessions with Museum educator can be added to supplement an in-person or virtual Museum visit. Programs include Thinking Like a Historian, Inside Washington's Army, or Whose Liberty?: African Americans in the Revolution.
What software is needed for a distance learning program?
The Museum uses Zoom for our remote learning programs. Please let Group Sales know at the time of booking if your school or district requires you to use a different platform.
How do I login to Zoom for the program?
You will receive an email three weeks prior to your scheduled program date containing a link to use on the date of your program as well as login instructions.
