Alexander Milliner

As a 12-year-old drummer in the 1st New York Regiment, Alexander Milliner camped at Verplanck’s Point. Shown in this photograph from late in his life, Milliner lived to be 95 years old and provided an oral history record of his service in the Continental Army. He died in 1865.
