Wife and Child

Richard Mansergh St. George displayed this portrait of his wife and son by British artist George Romney in his Irish home, Headford Castle. Anne Stepney St. George and the young Richard James Mansergh St. George posed for this portrait in 1791. The following year, Anne died from an illness soon after the birth of her second son, Stepney.
