Kilkenny Rangers Jug
The Irish Volunteers commissioned and purchased ceramic jugs to celebrate their Ideals. This jug declares the Kilkenny Rangers to be the “First Volunteer Company in Ireland.” The Kilkenny Rangers formed in 1770 as a town police force and joined the Irish Volunteers when they began organizing in 1778.
