1798-1998

In 1998, Dr. Martin Mansergh (wearing a blue tie) dedicated a plaque honoring John Hoy, Timothy Hickey, and Patrick Hynes who were hanged for the murder of Richard Mansergh St. George. The dedication took place in County Cork on the 200th anniversary of St. George’s death. That same year, Dr. Mansergh helped secure the Good Friday Agreement.
