Inner Chamber Fragment

Over time, parts of the tent were cut up to give away as souvenirs. This fragment was cut from the inner chamber.

Inner Chamber Fragment

This fragment is said to have been cut from the tent’s inner chamber by George Washington Parke Custis, General Washington’s step-grandson. The inner chamber insulated the general’s office space within the tent.
