Green Hill 

In 1825, Pierre Charles L’Enfant died penniless at Green Hill, the Maryland estate of William Dudley Digges, near Washington, D.C. L’Enfant was buried on the grounds of Green Hill but his remains were moved to Arlington National Cemetery in 1909.
