Museum of the American Revolution Appoints Dr. R. Scott Stephenson President and CEO
The Museum of the American Revolution today announced the appointment of Dr. R. Scott Stephenson, currently Vice President of Collections, Exhibitions, and Programming for the Museum, as President and CEO, effective Nov. 1, 2018. Since 2007, Stephenson has led the development of the Museum’s award-winning exhibitions, multimedia experiences, and educational programming, as well as overseeing the care and expansion of its rich collection of art and artifacts.

A realistic recreation of America’s first Liberty Tree was recently installed in the new Museum of the American Revolution, one of several immersive environments that will bring to life the dramatic story of our nation's founding when the Museum opens on April 19, 2017. The nearly two-story tree is 18 feet tall and weighs 2,000 pounds.
