Tempesta di Mare Artist Recital Series: Gwyn Roberts and Héloïse Degrugillier
What makes a Telemann duet so good? Gwyn Roberts and Héloïse Degrugillier perform from and talk about the five masterful and stylistically diverse sets Telemann wrote between 1727 and 1752. During his lifetime, Georg Philipp Telemann’s music was performed here in Philadelphia (1681-1787), where the Pennsylvania Gazette advertised instrument makers’ stores only blocks away from the Museum.
