All events are free to the public. The Museum will be open for extended hours, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Join the Museum and over 20 partner organizations from Philadelphia’s Historic District for the second annual Red, White, & Blue To-Do. The day’s highlights include the Pomp & Parade, Wawa Welcome America’s All-American Block Party (on 3rd Street in front of the Museum) and musical performances on our Plaza and throughout the district.
Pomp and Parade
11 a.m.
Red, White, & Blue To-Do Pomp & Parade kicks off at the National Constitution Center, traveling along Independence Mall and ending on 3rd Street, between Chestnut and Walnut Streets. The parade will include a variety of youth performance troupes, miniature, hand-decorated wagon floats, and community members decked out in patriotic flair.
Wawa Welcome America's All-American Block Party
11 a.m.-3 p.m.
This block party, located right in front of the Museum on 3rd Street, will include pay-as-you-go food trucks, family-friendly activities and games, special activations, music and dance performances, and more!
Barbecue on the Plaza
12-5 p.m.
Stop by the Museum's plaza, where we'll be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for sale.
Performances on the Plaza
3:15-6 p.m.
Join us for performances on the Museum's plaza:
- 3:15 – 4 p.m. – Youba Cissokho (Manding Griot)
- 4:15 – 5 p.m. – Sonqo (Andean Folk)
