We've all heard that a picture is worth a thousand words, but what about a historical object? Join Museum educators as we examine paintings of historical events alongside objects from the Museum’s latest special exhibition, Liberty: Don Troiani’s Paintings of the Revolutionary War. Participating teachers will get a sneak peek at featured paintings and material culture from the exhibit while investigating how close-looking and analysis of them can be a gateway to student understanding of the people, places, and events of the American Revolution.
