Four costumed living historians stand in front a brick wall in Independence National Historical Park.

Members of the Revolution Society, George Washington Council, and select invited guests, are invited to an exclusive afternoon presentation on Wednesday, Nov. 20, about how living history, costumed interpretation, scholarly research, and theater inspires the Museum’s initiatives to engage new and diverse audiences in the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding in 2026. Museum education managers Dr. Tyler Putman, Meg Bowersox, and Michael A. Idriss will join a roundtable discussion hosted by Museum Director of Education and Community Engagement Adrienne G. Whaley, with a reception to follow.

This event is exclusive to members of the Revolution Society, George Washington Council, and additional invited guests. To RSVP, please contact Jane Hayden at [email protected] or 267.579.3364.
