How does art help shape our understanding of historical events? Join the Museum as we welcome special guest historian James Percoco, who will lead participants on an exploration of iconic and lesser-known artwork depicting historical events from the American Revolution. Educators participating in this free workshop will learn about how imagery influences the way we think about the Revolution and how you can teach your own students to analyze artwork as part of their own investigations of the Revolutionary era’s people, places, and important events.
Register for this free workshop. Check back for future workshops exploring the themes and stories from the Museum’s special exhibit, Liberty: Don Troiani's Paintings of the Revolutionary War.
The Liberty Workshop Series is presented in partnership with the American Battlefield Trust.
