Occuppied Philadelphia Redcoat

The British are coming back! Young Friends and Museum Circle members are invited to join us for free for a festive evening to kick off Occupied Philadelphia, the Museum’s annual living history weekend that recreates Philadelphia’s occupation by British troops in 1777-78 with neighborhood walking tours and family-friendly activities. At 5:30 p.m., attend a reception with AmRev Quizzo themed to the British takeover and hosted by Rebecca Franco, Family Programs Manager and Michael Hensinger, Manager of School Programs. Enjoy exclusive access to Liberty: Don Troiani’s Paintings of the Revolutionary War before taking an optional lantern-lit walking tour of the Museum’s historic neighborhood.

Online tickets to this event include full participation in the game of His Royal Majesty’s Quizzo, hosted live from 6-7 p.m. using Mentimeter, a free platform accessed at www.menti.com in any Internet browser. Each Member that registers for this event will be able to name their team and play to win the night’s prize. All instructions will be provided live during this Zoom Webinar event.
