Museum Announces Appointment of New Vice President for Advancement
PHILADELPHIA– March 16, 2015 – The Museum of the American Revolution today announced the hiring of Claudia H. Stowers, CAP, CFRE, CLF, as Vice President for Advancement.
Stowers brings over 30 years of fundraising and management experience to the Museum. In her role, she will be responsible for working with the Board and senior staff to complete the $150 million Campaign for the Museum of the American Revolution. She most recently served as Vice President, Advancement, at the American College where she successfully managed a $50 million capital campaign. Previously she served as a as part of the La Salle University Nonprofit Center, was Director of Development and Communications at Episcopal Community Services, and served in executive leadership positions at three United Way agencies (United Way of the National Capital Area, United Way of Greater High Point, and United Way of Wilkes County).

Construction for the Museum is now underway with an anticipated opening of early 2017.
